Position and planting

This plant can grow underwater or with suitable foliage above the waterline. For a submerged aquarium layout, use the tank position described above.

Tolerant stem plant with small leaves; pruning encourages branching.

Light: Low–Medium. CO₂: Optional. Difficulty: Easy.

The library lists added CO₂ as optional. Stronger lighting and CO₂ require careful, balanced fertilization.

Keeping it healthy

Provide consistent light, suitable nutrition, and routine maintenance. Remove decaying leaves. Watch for algae or melting after transitions, and troubleshoot conditions before making sudden changes.
